About our Coaches
Timothy Balas and Elias Garman bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to StudioBordo’s Leadership Development Coaching team.
Together, the StudioBordo team leverages expertise in project management, business creation, graphic design, and social media strategies to equip leaders with the tools for success.

Both hold a Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership from Life Pacific University, with advanced training in mentoring, coaching, and organizational leadership. The program provided an in-depth understanding of human development within organizations, effective leadership strategies, and the principles of organizational management. This comprehensive education focused on the skills to inspire teams, foster growth, and implement strategic solutions in dynamic environments.

Certified in Debriefing through SeeBeyond, they are trained to listen intentionally, allowing clients to process events and create self-realized goals.

Timothy and Elias both served as Directors and Project Managers of non-profit organizations across the United States, where they gained invaluable experience in leadership, program development, and community impact. In these roles, they successfully led teams, managed resources, and spearheaded initiatives that addressed pressing social issues and supported underserved populations.

Their leadership experience extends globally through contributions to disaster relief efforts. They have provided strategic and hands-on support in regions affected by crises, demonstrating adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to mobilize resources effectively in challenging situations.
Both are certified First-Responders through FDR. -
As co-founders of a School of Leadership in Central America, they developed and implemented programs that empowered professionals in non-profit and for-profit sectors. Their work focused on equipping individuals with the skills to lead effectively, make sustainable impacts, and advance their organizational missions.

Elias is fluent in English, Spanish, and French and has a deep understanding of Latin American culture as a third-culture kid who has lived in Central America, the U.S., and France. Timothy is fluent in English and French, with shared experiences of living in Central America, the U.S., and France. Both have traveled to 38 countries, enriching their global perspective.

Initial Meeting: We’ll schedule a time to discuss your goals & evaluate where you are.
Personalized Coaching Sessions: Whether in-person or online, we work with you to address your needs through flexible coaching formats: a single session of a few hours, or a weekly session over a longer timeframe focused on management skills.
Ongoing Support: After our sessions, we’ll stay connected to ensure you’re on track and provide continued support when needed.
